Documents Show that Chinese Scientists Planned to Modify Coronavirus Spike Protein 18 Months Before Pandemic
It is amazing that anyone would have thought this type of research was a good idea:
Wuhan scientists were planning to release enhanced airborne coronaviruses into Chinese bat populations to inoculate them against diseases that could jump to humans, leaked grant proposals dating from 2018 show.
New documents show that just 18 months before the first Covid-19 cases appeared, researchers had submitted plans to release skin-penetrating nanoparticles containing “novel chimeric spike proteins” of bat coronaviruses into cave bats in Yunnan, China.
They also planned to create chimeric viruses, genetically enhanced to infect humans more easily, and requested $14million from the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (Darpa) to fund the work.
Papers, confirmed as genuine by a former member of the Trump administration, show they were hoping to introduce “human-specific cleavage sites” to bat coronaviruses which would make it easier for the virus to enter human cells.
When Covid-19 was first genetically sequenced, scientists were puzzled about how the virus had evolved such a human-specific adaptation at the cleavage site on the spike protein, which is the reason it is so infectious.

I agree with Flyingsword. This is a scamdemic planned out by the US to make China look evil. COVID-19 is just a bad flu, being used by the US government to create an excuse to wage an economic war on China.
Flyingsword, Chickenhead, setnaffa, liz, and the rest of the gang are right. It’s an American created hoax to blame China.
1. China didn’t release it on purpose. If they had, the first cases would have been at the closest Walmart to Ft. Detrick rather than just down the street from the Wuhan Bat Virus Gain of Function Lab.
2. Governments, corporatists, globalists, idealists, etc., have used this to further their own goals with no real relationship to public health.
3. Since China owns many western politicians and serves as an important market for multinationals and global media companies there, there has actually been a lack of blame, a lack of accountability, and a lack of recompense concerning China.
Let’s mark this historic day, since this is the first time that Korean Man has expressed agreement with setnaffa’s views and sided with him.
Unless of course this was Korean Man’s attempt at mind bending sarcasm.

I had no idea our defense research money was going to China.
And my spouse actually worked for DARPA for a short time.

China is not innocent; but in this case, I doubt they’re the worst of the lot. Unless you’re a Uighur, Tibetan, live in Hong Kong, or try to go to an unauthorized church…

All that good will Fauci built up by letting AIDS run train on the ghays is now squandered because his virus is so worthless they have to put infected people directly into rest homes just to run up some numbers… and it was still too lame to save Social Security.
At least the new policy of forcing workers to get vaxxed will keep America productive.
Not requiring a vax to get welfare or all the free stuff they give illegal aliens is a clever way to kill them off…
…well… assuming the disease is deadly and the vaxxes are safe…
