“The Australians are on the dance floor; the Koreans are sitting by the punch bowl.”

Maybe in the military.

In civilian life, the Koreans are eyeing the punch bowl and wondering if they can have punch while the Australians are bound up with duct tape, spread eagle in a creepy old hog farmer’s basement while he looks around for some lard to use as lubricant.

I’m wondering if CH is watching too much Ojingo Netflix or if he’s actually figured out the True Secrets of the Outback Stake-house (TM)…

I, with the straightest of faces, always tell Korean that Outback has great kangaroo streak.

But it’s beef. No?

Is their logo a cow? Have you ever seen any cows anywhere in their marketing?

Uh… no.

Is their logo a kangaroo?

Uh… yes.

Has any company with any product ever, in the history of companies or products, had a logo that is the complete opposite of the product they sell?

Uh… no.

There you go.

I saw the tag line and I thought the article was about the “Punchbowl” during the Korean War. Nevermind.

There’s also the Punchbowl on Oahu (National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific).

Which, after just reading about the Clausen Investigation about Pearl Harbor, was my first thought.
