Yoon Suk-yeol’s Wife Apologizes for Inflated Resumes
What bothers me just as much as the resume inflation is that no one bothered to verify easily checkable things in her resume that would have caught her years ago:
The wife of Yoon Suk-yeol, presidential candidate of South Korea’s main opposition party, apologized Sunday over allegations of past misdeeds that have continued to plague Yoon’s campaign for the March 9 election.
Kim Keon-hee, wife of Yoon who is running in the election as candidate of the People Power Party, has faced allegations that she falsified her credentials when applying for teaching positions at two local universities in 2007 and 2013.
“I shouldn’t have done it. In retrospect, it was too shameful,” she said during a televised press conference. “All was my fault and carelessness. Please forgive me.”

Lee Jae Myung now leads the poll – 43% vs Yoon who has dropped to 38%.
Lee has promised to take back wartime command of South Korean troops, build the nuclear submarine that the US is against, and strengthen South Korea’s self-defense posture including speedier modernization of South Korean defense as well as continuing the transformation of the rapidly growing defense industry into one of the top five in the world in terms of arms exports.
I imagine the cooperation with Russia in terms of economic and military cooperation will also grow much closer, with the latest success of South Korea – Russia cooperation.
Lee Jae Myung also proposed South Korea abolish the current military draft system and replace it with a new hybrid system. He proposes to cut the manpower to 300,000 (from the current 580K). About 150,000 will be made up of drafted recruits, but the other half will be made up of professional military who will be paid the minimum wage of 2 million Won per month. However the military spending will still go up substantially due to the spending on high-tech weapons systems, much of it built in-house.

But make sure your crews are fully vaccinated (including the requisite boosters) first…
About resume inflation, it’s really dishonest and short-sighted. Many in politics do this; but when they’re caught claim it was an accident or a typo.
Little lies add up and make one a security risk, more susceptible to extortion. Resume inflation and other forms of lying are not compatible with good government.
However! I’m a bit more forgiving of folks who, unlike the lady in question here, confess before they’re caught.
But then, how serious was it? It’s not as if she wore a MAGA hat or criticized Winnie XI.

Unfortunately Abe Lincoln destroyed such slavery in the United States, which means the Dear Comrade has to look for alternatives.
What better alternative is there than the satisfaction gained from the thought that the United States through the stationing of troops in South Korea controls the South Korean people.
