The Seoul Administrative Court partially suspended the government’s vaccine pass system, allowing people to enter large supermarkets, department stores and retail stores without providing their COVID-19 vaccination status.

The pass system will remain effective for eateries and cafes, however.
~Korea Times

So, we can go to eMart again!!

Meanwhile, in a first, I was refused entry at the Itaewon McDonalds today. I was told by the kid at the front door checking customer phones for baxseen pass that I was just getting take out. He said, can’t come in w/o a baxseen pass. Well, this was going nowhere fast, so …

The ordering kiosk was two steps away, so I just acted like I never saw him and ordered at the kiosk anyway, picked up my order and left. Fortunately, he didn’t say another word or create a scene.

Oh yeah, and the SCOTUS ruling today —> Woop woop!

There are glimmers of hope all around. About time for the next shoe to drop: What will it be?

McGeehee, there is a link somewhere to a vax card you can fill out, take a picture, and use that. Of course it might be unlawful but I know some folks who do that when visiting New York.

Liz, in Korea they use a QR code. I assume that is to get past scammers; but anyone with half a computer class can make their own.

Like so: https://www.qr-code-generator.com/free-generator/

Note: Using this to commit fraud is strictly forbidden. Only use it for legitimate reasons.

These wins in small Korean courts will reveal the level of corruption in the big Korean courts as the government appeals.

In America the Supreme Court found AGAINST the vaccine mandate for companies but FOR the vaccine mandate for healthcare workers who take public funds (all of them via Medicare/caide?)

But the real story has been missed.

This is not a law. It is a mandate. Mandate is a softer word for dictate. Think about that.

The president(‘s handlers) believe they can force an experimental medical intervention on citizens… an intervention that clearly does not work… without a third medical intervention… which clearly does not work without a forth medical intervention… and so on.

This is so insane that it needs to be put down with fire.

Unfortunately, the Supreme Court decision actually seems to have encouraged congress to turn this into a law… and perhaps it will be allowed then.

The insanity is so widespread, I worry that I am the crazy one.

Then I remember…

I AM ALIEN JESUS NAPOLIAN FROM THE FUTURE AND I WOULD NEVER BE CRAAAAAAZY!

Speaking to Mcgeehee’s how asinine is it to need a vax pass to get deadly mcdonald’s food?

Mcgeehee

Mostly I try to eat healthy, but the first to admit I am also inconsistent in that goal. Just had an aunt who died at 103. Up until her last day, she loved her weekly McDonalds cheeseburger, fries, and strawberry milkshake.

But I see what you mean — about as asinine as Susan G Komen breast cancer survivors putting pink ribbons and getting discounts on buckets of Chicken at KFC.

Yes, Mr. Cancer Man. South Korea’s death rate is less than 1 percent, why? Because it did a good job limiting the spread while quarantining those who are infected. Still, over 6000 dead in two years, still not acceptable. However it could have been far worse. The US has over a million dead because it did a poor job of fighting the pandemic. Is that an acceptable number of deaths for you?

Yes. They could have been riding in cars which kills 7000 to 9000 people every two years.

As for America… well… it appears that it was managed… perfectly?

– one in ten senior citizens off social security
– nursing home overcrowding solved
– the average weight of Americans was lowered
– the number of Americans with diabetes went down
– there are now fewer kids with leukemia
– a sharp drop in people with chronic lung diseases
– not as many drug addicts
– a reduction in troubled teens

What did Korea accomplish?

Nothing.

Yet another squandered opportunity in the Land of the Morning Calm.

Some news regarding United which mandated its employees be vaccinated

https://www.reuters.com/business/aerospace-defense/united-airlines-ceo-says-about-3000-employees-test-positive-covid-19-2022-01-11/

Of course Dear Comrade Setnaffova and his knights will be focused on this;

United Airlines said on Tuesday that about 4% of its U.S. employees, or about 3,000 workers, have tested positive for COVID-19

But those who are enlightened and more familiar with science and facts will know that the most important point is this;

but vaccinated employees had neither died nor recently been hospitalized with the disease.

Kirby said in a memo on Tuesday that “since our vaccine policy went into effect, the hospitalization rate among our employees has been 100x lower than the general population in the U.S.”

Before United’s vaccination requirements were put in place, “tragically, more than one United employee on average *per week* was dying from COVID,” Kirby said. “But we’ve now gone eight straight weeks with zero COVID-related deaths among our vaccinated employees.”

The CEO of United could not even say how many people have been placed on unpaid leave at his company, but he knows exactly how many died of covid eh?

Another thing … St Mary’s Hospital will not perform an antibody blood test to see if you have COVID antibodies. My wife had an appt there and while there I asked her to make an appt for me to get blood drawn for COVID antibody testing.

She was told, “We don’t do that.”

In the above interview Kirby is trying to guess how many lives his company’s policy has ruined. He thinks he has fired around 80 people but the number is in the thousands. He smiles smugly in response. He doesn’t know, and obviously doesn’t care. But, sure, he knows every single person’s medical information.

In the meanwhile, one in five American healthcare workers have quit their jobs due to overwork, stress, and low pay, as US hospitals, are collapsing due to COVID patients flooding the wards. Not counted in the COVID death toll, millions more who died and will die of other illnesses due to the fact that they couldn’t get treatments and doctor visits due to COVID treatments taking up all the valuable resources.

Another great result guys! Great job there!

Next news, those corrupted Lockheed Martin investigators investigating last week’s F-35 belly landing, is already wrapping up their “investigation” by claiming that a bird collided with the jet, somehow causing a catastrophic total electrical failure. LOL. If you believe this crock of poop, I have a nice bridge over the Han River that I can sell you. What did anyone really expect right? Other than the nice Lockheed Martin surprise bill for the South Korean government to pay another $30 million per plane to mandatorily “upgrade” the already outdated F-35 jets which were just delivered.

Korea Man, don’t be so negative.

But I understand. I was once like you.

“Oh nos,” I cried. “Incompetence, greed, agendas with cross purposes! What will we do? We use treatments we know don’t work while we hide those that might. We don’t keep proper statistics that would help us recognize useful patterns and we lie about those we do. We fire unvaxxed nurses yet we allow infected and symptomatic nurses to work (as long as they are vaxxed). We lock people down for little gain but see an explosion of suicide and overdose. We put the infected in nursing homes with our most vulnerable population. And we pump everyone full of as much experimental chemical as fast as we can even though it has lived up to none of its promises and clearly never will, yet we still push it… and people are eager for it.”

And I stared intently at the sky and yelled, “How can this be? This is madness! This makes no sense! Nobody is this stupid or incompetent!”

And then I whispered to myself, “Nobody. Nobody is this stupid or incompetent. Nobody.”

And my eyes widened.

“This madness can’t be happening… unless.. it… is… intentional.”

And then I realized… not even in my most amazing fap could I fantasize about a eugenics program this perfect.

The old. The sick. The weak. The fat. The progressive. The Jews. So many are doomed!

The noisy scolds seeking some sort of identity in their pointless lives who transfered their intrusive attention from global warming to Get The Vax Like Me got the vax. The libtards who scowled at anything by Trump shot it up like smack when he handed it over to Biden. It was a masterstroke of twisting the knife.

And for anybody even mildly interested, the vax and all the restrictions are easy to avoid. This is by design to allow those with a tiny bit of intelligence and motivation and planning to self-select out of the vax and whatever horror endless injections are supposed to conjure.

It doesn’t even take any intelligence to see that if you are not in a high-risk group, covid poses less danger than driving to get your vaccine. What are people thinking? What can possibly be wrong with them?

They are truly… dumb?

Who cares. They deserve what they accept. And they deserve what they seek even more.

And on the part of those running this show?

It is not madness.

It is brilliance.

A brilliant plan to make the American population younger, healthier, smarter, more aware, more engaged, and more independent.

And the world bought it.

I went from a bitter anti-vaxxer to the most pro-vaxxer you will ever meet.

…well… you know… except for me.

But I fully support your fundamental human right to get as much vax as they will give you.

Please.

Stay Safe and Effective, my friends.

Ah yes Dear Comrade Setnaffova does it again.

Spreading more fake news without fact checking and fully understanding the issue at hand. OR should I say conveniently ignoring scientific facts.

As KM regulary claims, it seems that the cancer has truly affected his brain.

https://edition.cnn.com/2022/01/12/politics/fact-check-walensky-cdc-comorbidities-good-morning-america/index.html

Prominent right-wing figures have been falsely describing a comment the director of the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention made last week about Covid-19 deaths — taking Dr. Rochelle Walensky out of context to wrongly claim she had delivered a dramatic new admission about the 840,000-plus Americans who have died of the virus.

The original study was this which mentioned by CNN which was also reported by Reuters.

That study found that, of a group of 1.2 million people who were fully vaccinated between December 2020 and October 2021, 36 of them had a death associated with Covid-19 — and that, of these 36 people, 28 of them, or about 78%, had at least four of eight “risk factors” for experiencing a severe outcome from the virus, such as an age of over 65, diabetes and a variety of additional chronic diseases.

https://www.reuters.com/article/factcheck-walensky-study-idUSL1N2TS0S2

In a way, that study says vaccines work.

Had the right wingers decided not to take that statement out of context for their own purposes(which is what right wingers are good at) then that study would not have gained much attention.

But thanks to short sighted and not so intelligent Setnaffova and his knights we have been made more aware of the fact that vaccines do work.

Great Job Dear Comrade.

While my other comment is awaiting approval from GI Korea, I would like to comment on liz or Liz’s response to my previous comment regarding United.

As usual, the Knights of the Order of Fake News and Misinformation has constantly shown their tendency to ignore scientific facts.

liz or Liz cannot rebut the facts and figures, because how can she. It’s all there clearly in black and white.

So she does the most obvious thing of attacking the United CEO in order to undermine his credibility.

Which is laughable at best because she is using a Twitter of a Trump supporter and the person who is questioning the United CEO in the video is none other than Ted Cruz!

Yes Ted Cruz. The same Ted Cruz who took his family to Cancun during the Texas weather crisis, had second thougths and later returned, and eventually threw his own daughters under the bus for the Cancun trip.

liz
liz

A CEO should at the very least know how many people he has laid off. The CEO of United could not even estimate that number. That is a black and white truth, right there. By contrast his number is unsupported by any evidence. Yes, Mr Kirby, by all means show us the data of your company’s covid death rate. Also show us how many people have died as a result of losing medical care by your practice of putting them on “reserve” without pay or medical benefits.

liz

United is one of the worst run major airlines in the US. Think that last bailout was their third, perhaps fourth. If they sold every seat on every plane and never had a cancellation they still would not be able to make a profit. They keep afloat with those credit card rewards programs. That is a cash cow for them.

Thanks liz. I was curious if the same antibody test denial was occurring in the states.

Ref Greg Pearson (Buzz Patterson) video, I find it disappointing he said so many pilots are afraid to speak out because these are the same guys trained in CRM and taught to be assertive and speak up when something’s not right.

Below is a link to yet another AF pilot injured by the vaccine.

https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/fighter-pilot-injured-after-taking-covid-shot-says-servicemembers-are-being-silenced-threatened-by-military/

In other news:

Australia pre-purchased 7 years worth of vaccinations (14 doses per person, or one booster every 6 months). Canada just purchased 5 years worth.

New South Wales is imprisoning any doctor for six months if they prescribe hydroxychloroquine or ivermectin for COVID. Reason? Because it encourages vaccine hesitancy. In other words, Australian health officials admit the drugs work … but that’s not the point any longer.

Greece is fining citizens aged 60 and up $114/mo if they remain unvaccinated.

The CMS mandate had to remain in force in order to implement the next phase … which is denying medicare/aid to the unvaccinated.

liz

It’s kind of hardwired into them…from the beginning, any little thing will wash them out of pilot training. Later, they don’t want to be on DNF (do not fly) status. Most of them have a lot of physical issues anyway from the job (pulling a lot of Gs with a heavy helmet isn’t natural for a human neck). If they have something they can’t hide, like a bone sticking out of their head, they’ll say, “oh, that’s nothing, it will go away soon”.

liz
liz

Just to add, the GAO brought the issue up when they noticed flight crews were under-reporting side effects from the anthrax jabs by about 500 percent. That’s why they recommended oversight and monitoring (which is why the DOD dropped the mandate). Took years though.

More evidence of the richness of the English language and the lack of even basic vocabulary skills on the part of our trolls.

If… I say if… I wanted to insult someone, I might go as far as to alphabetize it for emphasis, as follows:

“Sir, you are an apogenous, bovaristic, coprolalial, dasypygal, excerebrose, facinorous, gnathonic, hircine, ithyphallic, jumentous, kyphonic, labrose, mephitic, napiform, oligophrenial, papuliferous, quisquilian, rebarbative, saponaceous, thersitical, unguinous, ventripotent, wlatsome, xylocephalous, yirning zoophyte!”

Much more satisfying than using common epithets.

But I haven’t gotten that ticked at anyone lately. Even the dude (?) who gets everything wrong about aviation.

Today’s a day to enjoy all the blessings God gave us and be grateful.

Since it will take some time for GIKorea to go thorough the cue of comments in moderation, I’ve decided to repost my previous comment.

In a previous comment, setnaffa(aka the Dear Comrade) claims that the CDC “finally admitted that of the 832,000+ deaths (in the USA( attributed to covid, ony 50,000 really were covid.”

As usual, setnaffa has been caught red handed spreading fake news, as shown below.

However, some widely shared social media posts suggested Walensky was talking about all COVID-19 deaths in her remarks.

https://www.reuters.com/article/factcheck-walensky-study-idUSL1N2TS0S2

The full statement was this;

Walensky replies, “You know really important study if I may just summarize it. A study of 1.2 million people who were vaccinated between December and October and demonstrated that severe disease occurred in about 0.015% of the people who received their primary series and death in 0.003% of those people. The overwhelming number of deaths, over 75%, occurred in people who had at least four comorbidities. So really these are people who were unwell to begin with. And yes, really encouraging news in the context of Omicron.”

So what setnaffa just said was take what the CDC director said about only a very small minority of vaccinated people who have died of Covid and twisted into saying that “out of the people who have died only a small minority were Covid”.

This is blatant twisting of facts and spread of fake news and misinformation, which are the trademarks of the Dear Comrade.

It is interesting to note that in the 2011 movie ‘Contagion’ that an anti-government conspiracy theorist played by Jude Law, spreads fake news and conspiracies, and is later arrested by Federal agents for conspiracy when the pandemic depicted in the movie dies down due to a newly developed vaccine.

Who know maybe setnaffa will meet the same fate.

As for liz or Liz, who is screaming “Liar, liar pants on fire!”, it is interesting to note that she is focused solely on claiming that the United CEO is a jerk.

But, of course the above is not the main subject of this discussion.

And it shows clearly liz or Liz’s futile attempts to cloud the main issue at hand.

It is also interesting to note that liz or Liz has not produced any single credible and verifiable evidence that shows that the United CEO is lying about the effectiveness of United’s vaccine mandate as claimed by her.

Silly Korea Person… what are you going on about?

Study:

– vaccinated people who died
– 75% had 4 or more comorbidities
– 25% had 0 to 3 comorbidities

Hint: ~6% had 0 (or no diagnosed) comorbidities.

Conclusion: don’t be fat old smoker with diabetes and high blood pressure no matter your vax status

Interestingly, this plays out in the unvaxxed as well with pretty much the same results.

However:

– the unvaxxed die at a higher rate than the vaxxed

– the vaxxed are getting (but not dying) from omicron at a higher rate than the unvaxxed.

Conclusion: if you fit into a high-risk group, you could consider the vaccine… though you now have to take into account that it loses much of its protection quickly and the risk of side effect remains constant, if your plan is unlimited boosters. You would also need to consider why it seems “not up-to-date” vaccines have a higher rate of omicron. (It has not yet been determined if this is omicron-only or if it is general immune system reduction to all coronaviruses of even all viruses).

If you fit into a low-risk group, there is little benefit from the vaccine beyond “it will be more mild” in exchange for broader and longer-lasting natural immunity.

If you are young and male, there is potential harm in the vaccine.

And if you are young and healthy, there is no benefit in the vaccine but there are potentially unknown long-term risks that have decades to develop (think of other things that altered genetics from agent orange to asbestos).

In the end, it is an individual risk assessment for everyone. I am in a low-risk demographic so there is no benefit but there are potential long-term side effects. I see no reason to leave the control group.

And I see no reason to give it to healthy young people.

And there is certainly no reason to give it to healthy children who are generally asymptomatic. Seems like long-lasting natural immunity with no symptoms is better than delaying with flawed and experimental medical intervention with unknown side effects until they are older and have a symptomatic infection. Any disagreement on that?

So… why care?

If you want the vaccine and boosters, have as many as they will give you.

You are Safe and Effective.

Why worry about me?

In this, he? shows himself? to be less competent than paintchip (original or new variant), leon, kravat, or even tom.

You can’t seriously expect him? to respond with logic, well-reasoned arguments, or sources from any more reliable sources than CNN (who regularly make outlandish anand false claims) or “al Reuters” (the people who helped Hezbollah use ambulances to transport troops in Lebanon)…

He? is a true believer! He? probably still believes the so-called Russian Dossier. He probably believes Avenatti was framed. And he? probably was a fan of USA Today’s recent story about how misunderstood p3dos really are.

Ot saying he? is a p3do. Just that it’s obvious he, like johnhenry (who is otherwise normal) support the one in the White House.

ChickenHead
ChickenHead

Two further points:

1. Johnhenry can’t get enough pedo

2. Be careful when comparing vaxxed and unvaxxed statistics.

If you take all unvaxxed covid deaths and compare them to vaxxed covid deaths, you will find the vaccine highly effective.

But if you take vaxxed and unvaxxed covid deaths after the vaccine was available, you get a different result.

And even then, you have to do all your calculations based on the percentage of vaxxed and unvaxxed over time… it gets complicated.

The basic idea is: all the unvaxxed people who died before there was a vaccine are added to the unvaxxed deaths. That pumps up the jam… but doesn’t help in comparing vaxxed and unvaxxed.

The simple but opposite version is what we are seeing now: “Yes, there are more vaxxed deaths but that shows the vaccine is working.”

The theory being that with 64% vaccination rate in America, if fewer than 64 vaxxed people die for 36 unvaxxed, the vaccine is working.

Of course this math clearly shows the vaccine to be murder juice…

…because unvaxxed kids with zero mortality bias the numbers away from the vaxxed 80-year olds that drop like flies.

So to get meaning out of these numbers, you do need to process them a bit.

And that’s where the problem comes in. Those numbers can be processed a lot of ways to show anything that anyone wants to show… and both processes can look quite reasonable to the average person.

The CEO was caught in a lie on video.
Now it is up to him to prove his claims, not the people who have no access to the data for his claims. If it is true, HE can prove it. Since he has been a proven liar in front of Congress it must now be assumed he is not being truthful about other things…
on the flip side he might not be a liar, he might actually be so incompetent he has no idea how many people he has personally harmed, in which case the result is the same.

That is rich coming from a person who is racist and condescending, and believes that the people who comment in the ROK Drop should only be white and right wing/Trump supporters.

I’m thinking someone needs to lay off the paint fumes… before their delusions and physical symptoms get worse…

Person or person or Man or man,
The number of people on unpaid leave is a little more part of a CEO’s purview than the personal health information of his individual employees. If he does not know the first, it is far less likely he would know the other. This is pretty obvious. But maybe no. Maybe you imagine air crew report their health status to the CEO. They do not.

To continue, for Man or man or Person or person,
Most of the pilots have had covid at least once. Most of the pilots are vaccinated. Unless and until a pilot reaches the attention of the FAA (they are required an annual physical exam for licensure) there is no record. If they fail the physical they are a grounded pilot. That’s about it. If a pilot drops dead they don’t launch an investigation to find out if it was a side effect of the vaccine, covid, or something “natural”. So again, there is a near 100 percent certainty the CEO is making this statistic up.

Just to add, thinking further, there is a mandatory quarantine of course for the whole flight crew if one person on the flight crew tests positive.

thinking someone needs to lay off the paint fume

Paint. An interesting choice of chemical. Considering that unless the person is a professional painter(not the artist kind), the chances of an ordinary person taking in paint fumes is not that high, and as recreational drug use sniffing paint fumes is more trouble than it’s worth, one wonders why he chose sniffing paint fumes to portray recreational drug use.

Unless of course, he does it himself?

Which may help explain Dear Comrade Setnaffova’s behavior.

Swiss sprinter and Olympic athlete Sarah Atcho has been diagnosed with pericarditis shortly after receiving the Pfizer COVID-19 booster shot.
Atcho is the second Swiss Olympic athlete this month to have been diagnosed with a heart condition after COVID-19 vaccination. On January 6th, Swiss marathon record holder and Olympic athlete Fabienne Schlumpf announced that she had been diagnosed with myocarditis after her booster shot. https://thecovidworld.com/sarah-atcho-olympic-athlete-develops-pericarditis-after-receiving-pfizer-covid-19-booster-shot/

“Never Again”? I don’t believe enough people have woken from their imaginations yet.

What two years of COVID-1984 should have taught people by now is that bureaucracies can never be trusted to police themselves for our protection. When the powerful treat the powerless as meaningless statistics to be manipulated and kept in the dark, then it is up to the powerless to determine how much tyranny they are willing to endure before deciding they’ve finally had enough.

May you all stay safe.
