US & ROK Respond to North Korean Missile Tests After President Biden’s Visit

The North Korean sent off some fireworks after President Biden left the region:

North Korea fired three ballistic missiles Wednesday morning off its eastern coast, prompting the United States and South Korea to respond with a show of force of their own launches.

North Korea’s missiles, fired hours after President Joe Biden wrapped up his first presidential trip to Seoul and Tokyo, came from the Sunan area, where the regime’s airport is located, according to the South’s Joint Chiefs of Staff.

The three missiles were fired at 6 a.m., 6:37 a.m. and 6:42 a.m. The first, believed to be an intercontinental ballistic missile, flew roughly 224 miles at a peak altitude of 336 miles; the second “disappeared” at an altitude of 12 miles; and the third, believed to be a short-range ballistic missile, flew about 472 miles at an altitude of 37 miles, according to South Korea’s military.

Stars & Stripes

Here is what the US and the ROK did in response:

Following the launches, U.S. Forces Korea announced in an unsigned press release that it had fired surface-to-surface missiles toward its eastern coast “to demonstrate the ability of the combined [U.S.-South Korea] force to respond quickly to crisis events.”

USFK, which is responsible for roughly 28,500 troops on the Korean Peninsula, said in the release it used the Army’s Tactical Missile System and South Korea’s Hyunmu-2 missile system for the live-fire exercise.

South Korea’s military also conducted an armed exercise consisting of 30 South Korean F-15K jets, the South’s Joint Chiefs of Staff said in a statement Wednesday.

You can read more at the link, but the missile tests are what I thought was the most likely provocation the Kim regime would do. What to watch for next is a nuclear test. I think this will be tied to any increased rhetoric from the US and ROK condemning the North in the coming days. I guess we will see what happens.

So what? So they shoot up an expensive projectile into the sea, over Japan, and onto the other side of the waters. What does that accomplish for North Korea and what negative effect does it have it on South Korea? I’ll tell you what, absolutely nothing. So let them shoot as many missiles into the empty seas, all they want. Why give them unnecessary attention?

President Biden’s Visit

Speaking of Biden’s visit, which was just a fancy name for a jobs creation program for America at the expense of South Korean jobs, what has South Korea joining America’s IFEP effort done for South Korea? I mean other than losing all those high-tech manufacturing jobs which will be moved to the US and South Korea being forced to lose 25% of its total trade volume due to being forced to stop trading with China, what good has Biden delivered for South Korea in exchange? Absolutely nothing new, other than promises of military security.

I think I liked Trump’s $5 billion annual bills better. It was far cheaper for South Korea in hindsight.

Trump was always about win-win, as long as America was winning. Biden is all about Biden and various campaign donors.

It good to see the light coming on, even if dimly; but too many Koreans in the USA still think Democrats will support them…

The bad thing about Trump was his naivete about entrenched bureaucracies. As an honest man, he was unable to understand the levels of corruption.

Not sure we’ll be able to fix it; but if we don’t, things will get worse all around the world.

 As an honest man

Trump was honest?

LOL. What drugs are you taking now?

And it seems that setnaffa has bought Trump back after throwing him under the bus for creating the vaccines.

Not surprising considering that setnaffa needs Trump to forment the Second American Civil War.

Trump must be honest.

The left, the fake right, corporations, foreign governments, the FBI, the CIA, the Deep State, the Administrative State, activist prosecutors, liber media, etc etc etc etc etc etc etc., went after him for 5 years with more scrutiny than has ever been on anyone, looking for something to screw him on…

…and the best they could do is he eats catsup on steak and had two scoops of ice cream.

But the same people who don’t understand this are the same people who don’t understand how many children of our top officials have been doing highly paid consulting work for Ukraine in fields they know nothing about.

Only Democrat death-cultists want a civil war…

Wait… I want a civil war.

That is the most efficient way to get rid of Democrat deat-cultists before they destroy the country entirely.

CH, I truly sympathize; but glowies are what the Democrats are praying for. Not to God; but to themselves.

If we’re patient, they destroy themselves.
