I am really glad to see this… it has been a long time coming.
A family of three retards (literally) don’t have the sense to get out of their flooded basement and now all basement dwellers in a city of over ten million get evicted.
Good job, government.
I think the real joy here is how poor people generally live in basement apartments and it is always a pleasure to see more trauma and expense brought upon the poor.
Perhaps a subsidy will help them get a 1st floor home.
But that won’t be equitable to the 1st floor dwelling working poor so they need a subsidy to move to a higher apartment.
The people they displace will need a subsidy to move to a better neighborhood.
And a fat tax break for the wealthy will dull the pain of having stupid poor people getting closer to everything they have worked smart and hard for.
I wonder why the government doesn’t just print more money so everyone can be rich.
