OTOH, unlike China’s top general, he is literate and never picks his nose in public.

If you think East Sea/Sea of Japan is a scandal, imagine what UAE Arabs think about the Persian Gulf and names/control of a couple islands in it.
The proper response is to tell Iran an official statement will be released soon and then kmgive increasingly ridiculous excuses every time they bring it up.
“The first dog ate the statement.”
“The speech writer died in a blimp accident.”
“We thought we were responding to Irian Jaya and have to rewrite the statement to refocus from headhunting.”
“Iran? What? Is that even a country?”

Nice to see the Chinabots
Chinabots again.
Our American hillbillies are wetting themselves thinking that the Chinese are interested in overthrowing Yoon and installing a China-friendly government.
On the contrary.
Do you not remember that former Pres.Park was once invited and attended a Chinese military parade, courtesy of Xi Jingping?
And it was under Park, that Korea built a lot of hotels and duty free shops to accomodate the Chinese tourists coming to Korea in addition to an increase in Korean investments in China.
Do you also not remember that it was Roh Taewoo, a protege of Chun Doo Hwan who decided to cut ties with Taiwan, and instead seek diplomatic relations with China.
You see my American hillbillies, the Chinese and Korean economies are so interwoven that neither the left or the right are willing to rock the boat and be at the receiving end of a lot of backlash.
And sometimes it is the Korean right have been more aggressive when it comes to Sino-Korean relations.
At the end, we do not care who is President, because we know whoever he/she is won’t rock the boat.
That’s the reality of the Sino-Korea relationship.
He never served in the military. Why he’s wearing the uniform?
“He never served in the military. Why he’s wearing the uniform?”
He couldn’t focus on the military. Maybe he just couldn’t see eye-to-eye.
Buh-dum-bump. I’ll just let myself out.
To answer your question, he isn’t wearing the uniform. He is wearing the jacket they handed to him.
But i agree. Politicians who play military, or worse, half military, look foolish.
Dukakis is the best example.
It seems that Pres. Yoon made another gaffe during his visit to the Korean special forces unit in the UAE.
His gaffe’s during foreign visits are now turning into a regular thing.

Nice to see the Chinabots being so openly bigoted about thr differently-abled. Yoon couldn’t serve and couldn’t get a driving license because of his vision. http://news.tvchosun.com/site/data/html_dir/2019/06/21/2019062190124.html
