Not exactly true.

This is quite an institution.

Over-institutionalized nations in Europe got into one of the bloodiest wars of the last 200 years when a Serbian anarchist shot an Austrian arch-duke. Read up on it.

I really don’t believe these so-called “leaders” actually have reason, logic, or common sense.

C’est la vie.

Ironically, all those “institutionalized” major powers, outside of the United States, have done nothing major to counter Russia in Ukraine. It’s South Korea churning and pumping out war materials for Europe so that the same European countries can unload their old equipment onto Ukraine (which is still better than where the Russians are). It’s also South Korea’s LNG ships and soon-to-be nuclear power plants that are bringing electricity to Europe. It’s South Korea’s semiconductor fabrication manufacturing that the US wants to control, and it’s the South Korean EV battery manufacturing and South Korea’s hydrogen power technology that’s powering the future of America’s and Europe’s transportation industry. With all the stuff South Korea has its fingers in the pot, it’s punching way above its weight and doing far more for the world.

Yet South Korea is not part of any of those useless organizations that do nothing, only just because Japan keeps opposing Korea’s inclusions which is a joke in itself. It’s like everyone wants Korea’s toys, yet doesn’t want to include Korea in their exclusive club of rich white countries.

But South Korea doesn’t have to belong to any of those useless organizations that are outdated and serve no purpose other than give illusions of prestige. True ability is far more important than the illusions of grandeur.

Plus one for Korea Man.

I should add that many of those shìtbag organizations are more for keeping an eye on each other’s population or creating regulations that favor them over other membrs than they are for keeping an eye on self-created enemies or promoting their economy.

Korea is wise to simply supply high-profit tech to the world and stay out of all the drama.

Dang. Who are you and what have you done with the old “Koean Man”?

Actually, nevermind. And welcome. You appear to have clarity.

As George Washington said as he was leaving public office, “Avoid foreign entanglements.”

Sadly, American “leaders” have seldom followed that sage advice.
