I hope everyone who is getting a long weekend is enjoying it! Please leave anything you want to discuss in the comments section.
Had a great day today. Wish you were here. Totally recommend Richardson’s Grove State Park in California.
That’s not where we were; but I assume you’d enjoy it more, unless you like Southern Baptist Church stuff.
Have a blessed weekend!
Li’l Kim shot another missile into the East Sea.
He obviously doesn’t need money to buy food if he can shoot expensive missiles at fish.
And, like Beijing Winnie, he knows starting a war with Biden is okay; but SpongeBrain Puddingpants is failing too fast to guarantee a suitable outcome, even in the US Senate.
The US president welcomed China’s CATL’s battery investment in the US, a joint venture with Ford Motor Company. Is this possible in 2023, at a time when the US is bullying other countries to stop doing business with China? What does one call this? Double-standardness? Hypocrisy? Back-stabbing? America-first? MAGA? Giving IRA subsidies to Chinese companies, at a time when the US is forcing South Korean companies to move their entire industries to the US with the promise that it’s going to be better for South Korea – yeah right.
What is funny though, is how the US is more reliant on China than it admits – after all, Ford and other US car manufacturers wouldn’t be able to make any of their cars in the future when they’ll be depending on Chinese battery makers. Without Chinese batteries – no EVs, and no zero carbon goals to meet.
Talking about US companies’ dependence on China, let’s not even mention Apple which has pumped an untold number of valuable technology to China, at the same time, now relies on Chinese technology. Is the US preventing Apple from ramping up China’s economic competitiveness, as the US is doing to other countries and companies from other countries like Samsung? Nope.
Apple will use Chinese technology to make foldable phones
This is why the US’s anti-China rhetoric is a sham, it’s a disguise to make the US a black hole for the world, where the US sucks in all the jobs, all the industries, and any competitive assets – all done through threats of consequences of doing business with China, and use of unfair competitive advantages like the right to indiscriminately print an unlimited supply of money at their whim. Now they’re using the excuse of ‘inflation’ – a factor that the US created for the world through money printings as well as destroying the world’s supply chain, to raise interest rates. The US knows fully well that the inflation rate won’t go down even with the rate hikes, because the problem is with the global supply chain disruptions that itself have created, by preventing global trade from flowing freely. Raising hikes is just a disguise to recall all the US dollars that it printed, to solve its own economic problems at the expense of other countries.
Is China the only problem for the world? Far from it, the US itself is a big problem for the world, and no one should cooperate with them.
Keep going! You almost have it!
You know all the information… but you just haven’t put it together.
You cry about Korean and Chinese factories in America as if those ancient concepts have meaning.
There is no America or Korea. Soon, there will be no China.
There is only Ford and Samsung and Apple.
They neither know nor care about nations or borders or people or culture or your outdated ideas… except maybe to insincerely tailor their message to a local market.
They own they politicians. Their lobbiests write the laws and regulations. Their influence sets policy and goals.
Who do you think will control what is left of Ukraine? Voters?
No.
You are now going to watch the first replacement of a nation by a corporation…
…most likely BlackRock…
…with many, many, many subcontractors fighting for their piece.
They will transfer government power and public wealth to themselves, as has been going on for some time, if you have been paying attention.
I am a huge fan of Korean nationalism… as I believe it has brought Korea great success and provided an excellent lifestyle for the vast majority of Koreans.
But the world is changing.
Korea MUST keep its nationalism but it must also accept the realities of globalism and corporatism and adapt its strategy to manage the best of both systems.
I remain in Korea because I believe the deep leadership of Korea is wise enough to satisfy global corporate interests while maintaining the concept of Korea and the lifestyle of the people.
In contrast, America is looking out for the corporations but discouraging unifying nationalism and destroying the large middle class.
Good luck, Korea.
setnaffa.
Curious, you mentioned that Li’l Kim wants a war with Joe Puddingpants because that will certainly mean the end of Li’l Kim.
Don’t you think that Li’l Kim wants Joe to lift sanctions so he can live without his underlings revolting against him?
If that’s case it’s obvious Li’l Kim doesn’t want a war with Joe.
If you are going to steal my ID, at least write like me and express my ideas to save me some work.
I have never called Puppet Biden “puddingpants” nor have I ever used “Li’l Kim”.
I am happy if you make me look good. I understand if you make me look ridiculous.
But making me look different is just weird.
Hmmm…
CH, I think out chinabots are just as slow-witted as before.
It’s really sad that a country like Red China can’t afford a better quality of bot.
I guess it points out how poorly the CCP hillbillies are at running things.
I wonder which version of ChickenHead setnaffa is talking to.
The “real” ChickenHead or the “fake” ChickenHead or vice versa.
Or maybe ChickenHead like setnaffa has Dissociative Personality Disorder.
Unexpectedly dangerous?
https://thenationalpulse.com/2023/02/17/we-could-eat-malignant-chicken-tumors-by-the-bucket-load-lab-grown-meats-impending-cancer-problem/
Setnaffa, I am oddly in favor of lab grown meat.
Farming and killing animals is cruel and only works because I love steak and bacon while maintaining physical and emotional distance from cows and pigs.
…much in the way I can support bombing Iran back to the stone age to keep them from getting a nuclear weapon yet I really like Iran and Iranians…
…though these are not contradictory thoughts since Iranians are crazier than an Apache with a gallon of firewater.
(I had an Apache girlfriend and she was honestly like a wild animal that you raised from birth… wonderful and exciting… but could turn on you at any time for no real reason… and she always carried a knife)
Inconsistency of thought, values, and opinion is no way to go through life, son… but it is somewhat more acceptable if you are self-aware enough to recognize it and compartmentalize the conflicting points of view.
Back to the point.
Fake meat, if it has the qualities of real meat, is perfect.
Technically the cell lines are “cancer”. It is unclear if:
– if this can really be equated with a “tumor”
– if this would have any affect on humans before or after cooking
– if we might not have eaten a real tumor or two when we had a hot dog with our apple pie and fireworks
My biggest concern would be things like the bioactive chemicals used to encourage the cell growth into meat.
Once this goes mainstream, i will study it more and Know the Science, Man.
Then i will form a more solid opinion.
