Leaked Documents Show that Taiwanese Defenses Lacking Against Chinese Attack

I hope what is going on in Ukraine right now is motivating the Taiwanese to do more to improve their own defensive posture because these leaked documents make it sound like they have a lot of work to do:

Taiwan is unlikely to thwart Chinese military air superiority in a cross-strait conflict, while tactics such as China’s use of civilian ships for military purposes have eroded U.S. spy agencies’ ability to detect a pending invasion, according to leaked Pentagon assessments that contain troubling details about the self-governed island’s ability to fend off war.

The assessments state that Taiwan officials doubt their air defenses can “accurately detect missile launches,” that barely more than half of Taiwan’s aircraft are fully mission capable and that moving the jets to shelters would take at least a week – a huge problem if China launched missiles before Taiwan had a chance to disperse those planes.

The classified documents addressing a potential conflict suggest China’s air force would have a much better shot at establishing early control of the skies – a strategy that Taipei itself believes will underpin an attack – than Russia did in Ukraine.

That poor kid in the national guard just wanted to show off to anonymous people on the internet. What a dummy. I mean… he… ah…

Anyway…

For those of you who haven’t figured it out yet, They got his number pretty quickly and started feeding him a mix of truth, misdirection, and “damaging” information… that was not damaging at all… so the media could pump up the hype and get even more publicity for these leaked super top secret documents.

We spy on Korea? Shocking. Zelensky isn’t trusted? Never would have guessed. Nothing like this would have been intentionally released in a misinformation campaign. It’s just… too… damaging.

Of course, the other, and not fully discouted option, is those in charge of things in America actually believe some of this stuff. That would be frightening.

Plot Twist: These were never intended to trick the Russians or the Chinese, who know exactly what is going on. They aren’t impressed with the lack of actual useful information and can’t be tricked with information they know to be wrong.

Noooo…

These were intentionally released upon the American people… intended to prepare them for something… test their responses… guide their opinions.

Enjoy what is coming.

Obviously, the fault lies with the Discord app… not the feeble-minded people passing out security clearances to feeble-minded people…

When China invades Taiwan, will the US risk igniting WWIII and go fight for Taiwan? Consider these:

1) Taiwan’s military has only 4 month draft period, they are extremely poorly equipped and trained. Taiwan had 75 years to strengthen its military but failed to do so. This is negligence and it’s Taiwan’s fault. Didn’t the US just get out of Afghanistan because the Afghans refused to fight for their own country?

2) Taiwan is actually split in the middle when it comes to accepting China as its mother country. By no means, does 100% of Taiwanese support Taiwan’s independence. There’s a sizeable portion of their population and politicians that support China. Those people strongly support Taiwan going back to the bosoms of their motherland.

3) If Taiwan is attacked and taken over by China, TSMC could be bombed and destroyed by the US. That’s not going to negatively affect the world because Samsung could easily take over TSMC’s role as a chip producer. It’s just that Apple won’t like this, since they’ll now have to depend on their most bitter rivals (Samsung) for all their chips. But that’s not the world’s problem.

So why does the US keep giving hints that they’ll get involved in a shooting war over Taiwan? The US will have to fight on its own because no other country in Asia will risk a war where millions of their own people get killed and their countries leveled. It’s far easier for Americans since they’re geographically far away from the area of conflicts, so they don’t have to worry about massive civilian casualties as much as the Asians.

Some comments on how I want you to suck me:

slow but hard

“Didn’t the US just get out of Afghanistan because the Afghans refused to fight for their own country?”

America left Afghanistan because victory had been achieved. “But… but… but,” you say with an open mouth, “But how is that possible? We spent 20 years and a trillion dollars to replace the Taliban with a better armed Taliban. We couldn’t even define victory.”

Well, you answered your own question. Did you think it was about some raggedy goat herder’s daughter getting an education that would ultimately serve no purpose or protecting some preteen boy dressed as a girl from unwashed old man weener or nationbuilding?

No. The purpose was to leave the region awash in chaos and disorder with enough equipment to keep it that way. And even enough equipment to export some chaos and disorder to the entire neighborhood.

Mission Accomplished.

“Those people strongly support Taiwan going back to the bosoms of their motherland.”

Sure. There are South Koreans who want to join NK. There were Americans who longed for the Soviet system (looking at you, Bernie Sanders). Some people in Hong Kong wanted more China. A lot of East Germans accepted their condition. And some prisoners can’t wait for shower time and keep intentionally dropping the soap.

Stupid people want a lot of things.

Sometimes our job is to protect them from themselves. Sometimes our job is to let them have what they want.

“If Taiwan is attacked and taken over by China, TSMC could be bombed and destroyed by the US. That’s not going to negatively affect the world because Samsung could easily take over TSMC’s role as a chip producer.”

If you were a clever Korean, you would be saying, “Sure hope China tries to invade Taiwan and secure TSCM. Wouldn’t mind Samsung taking over their customer orders with Made in Korea labels on each delivery.”

If you were Chinese, you would bitch about America and talk about how Taiwan couldn’t wait to join the motherland and… well… write everything you wrote.

You really need my consulting services. Your propaganda doesn’t work becasue it is not elegant.

“It’s far easier for Americans since they’re geographically far away from the area of conflicts, so they don’t have to worry about massive civilian casualties as much as the Asians.”

Keep going. You almost have it.

American doesn’t care how many Asian die fighting other Asians.

This isn’t racist because the same applies to blacks, browns, and Slavs, which are marginally white.

The 2000s is America’s century and the world is going to learn that. The corporate world already knows… as they race to build their manufacturing plants and set up continuance-of-business branch offices in geographically isolated America.

Europe, Asia, and the Islamic world are headed for disorder.

China is going to be dysfunctional within 20 years.

Don’t believe that? Ask me about history.

But we’re in the 2020’s. You need to catch up in time.

You’ve been watching too much Youtube. Keep dreaming though. The US is not capable of running chip and battery productions efficiently and cost-effectively. Designing chips, yes, but production? No. Even if you were successful in bullying your way through forcibly confiscating a few factories from ‘allied’ countries, the vast bulk of the production will still be done by East Asia. That is unless your American dollar loses all value, and cheap labor now becomes the norm. But if that were to happen, that would only mean you’ll have far bigger problems on your hands, like your problems with zombies currently.
