Organizers for Seoul Queer Culture Festival Looking for Public Venue to Hold the Event

It will be interesting to see what venue they are able to book this year for the SQCF:

Yang Sun-woo, chairperson of the Seoul Queer Culture Festival organizing committee poses during an interview with The Korea Times at the committee's office in Mapo District, Seoul, Monday. For an estimated 2.5 million Koreans identifying themselves as sexual minorities, the annual Seoul Queer Culture Festival (SQCF) is the long-awaited “national queer holiday,” a rare occasion where they feel safe and encouraged to gather and express their identity.

The festival, which celebrates its 24th anniversary this year, started in 2000 with 50 participants on a road in northeastern Seoul’s Daehangno area. The event grew to over 135,000 participants last year, and despite opposition and interference by conservative Christians, it seemed to have nestled at Seoul Plaza, one of the biggest public venues in the capital.

However, the festival now has to find an alternative venue this year, after the Seoul Metropolitan Government earlier this month disapproved the use of the city square for the upcoming festival.

This two-decade evolution of the SQCF has been a “journey of finding a public space where the country’s LGBTQ communities can be and show who they are,” Yang Sun-woo, the chairperson of the SQCF organizing committee, said during an interview with The Korea Times, Tuesday.

Yang, an activist at the Korean Sexual Minority Culture and Rights Center, has been taking part in the SQCF since she joined it in 2005 as a staff member of the Korea Queer Film Festival, a part of the SQCF. She has been in her current position since 2015.

Amid opposition from conservative Christians and merchants, the festival had to find one venue after another across the capital ― from Daehangno to Itaewon to Cheonggye Stream to Sinchon ― to house the growing queer community and its supporters, she said.

I don’t have anything against these promiscuous perverts — and I want to keep it that way.

However, they’re all mentally-ill and disease-carriers to boot.

Keep your kids away. And remind them of the school shooters in the US being predominantly “sexual minorities”…

Or not. Maybe you have too many kids and want them to die before you do of horrific disfiguring diseases, violence, or suicide.

Totally your choice.

Folks, this is what hate really means. This is the same retard that keeps quoting the bible (who would have thunk it, right?).
Go back to your bible belt Texas hill billy.

So you’re a gay incel. Good to know.

There is no hate involved in telling people to protect their children from rapists, pedophiles, or potential school shooters.

And a quick survey of authoritative government health agency websites will provide anyone interested with the facts on Sexually Transmitted Diseases and who gets them.

LGBTQetc people are quite frankly not as as careful when choosing partners for their penetrative performance art as others. Those with known HIV/AIDS cases often share needles and engage in unprotected s3x with strangers.

You’d need to have woken up from a 2,000 year nap not to know this.

The hate is on the side of the perverts.

So I was pounding this hot little hoe in the turd cutter.

She was real young but she was a pro.

She could… hey… where are you going? Aren’t you interested in my sexuality?

Why aren’t you showing enthusiasm over who I am hitting from behind?

You don’t want to have a parade celebrating what I like to smash?

Come back here and make your kids wear this symbol I dreamed up that shows what type of sluts I like, bigot.

Why are you acting like you didn’t care about me until i rubbed it in your face for attention and now that I have your attention you are sour because you don’t like the same things I like and don’t want my values pushed onto you?

Sounds like systemic something-or-other.

It is the Setnaffarians who are followers of the great hatemonger himself, Donald Trump, who are real hate spreaders here, not us Koreans.

Considering that setnaffa may be a Sino-Russo bot with multiple identities, it is no surprise that he is trying to project the notion that the hate spreaders are us Koreans.

We know that the Setnaffarians are habitual liars and refuse to take responsibility for their actions, unlike us Koreans.

They also don’t want to be called racists and traitors even though they are and want to be seen as clean and patriotic Americans, which they aren’t.

It is obvious that setnaffa has serious issues that needs sorting out.

We never said anything about Koreans spreading hate. It’s you race-baiting, nose-picking chinabots.

Glad I could clear that up for you.

Wow, setnaffa, all the socks dumped hate on you today, didn’t they. I would +1 you to offset your loss, but your score is a badge of honor and I don’t want to ruin that for you.

Also, one thing Trump isn’t credited for, that he should be, is he pretty much removed gays and gay marriage as an issue from the Republican party.

In reality, most people are too busy in their own lives to worry about gays or blacks or whatever…

…until it is shoved in their face over and over and over. Then they care… but not in a good way.

Interesting thought: Korea legally hassled a girl because she was riding on the back of a motorcycle in a bikini. If Korea allows scantily clad gays to frolic in public, there needs to be some self-reflection.

Reality: A bikini is socially acceptable clothing and scantily clad gays aren’t going to autogroom the kids. People need to worry about themselves a bit more.

Oh noes, Setnaffa!
You’ve obviously gained the attentions (and ire) of the queer sock puppets.
Their lisps are weak, but proud.

Remember when the homosexuals killed all the crocodiles in the Seoul zoo?

You aren’t supposed to give any outside food or drink to the animals but they were given GatorAIDS.
