Scouts’ relocation ahead of typhoon
Members of the Bulgarian contingent to the ongoing World Scout Jamboree take part in a course on Korean traditional temple cuisine, hosted by the Jogye Order, South Korea’s largest Buddhist sect, in Sejong, central South Korea, on Aug. 8, 2023, after leaving their campsite in the Saemangeum reclamation area in Buan, North Jeolla Province, on South Korea’s west coast. The relocation came as Typhoon Khanun is forecast to hit the nation’s southeastern region two days later. (Yonhap)

Angry foreigners flooding Reddit Korea with Jamboree topics, calling it the worst Jamboree hosting in history, and more proof that South Koreans are stupid incompetent idiots that shouldn’t be allowed to hold any more international events.

Yes, the Koreans running the show dropped the ball. OTOH, the Scouts should have had a template to follow. It’s their modus operandi.

But the greedy grifters running the show in Korea and elsewhere are no different than the crooked IOC.

Shame on the Scouts. The current crop of leaders certainly aren’t worthy of Burnham and Powell.
