After years of hearing ‘we’re moving everyone to Pyeongtaek’, we finally moved from Seoul down to Pyeongtaek last month.
Pyeongtaek sucks. Okay, maybe that’s too harsh but it’s definitely not Seoul. I’d compare it to moving from NYC to Podunk Arkansas.
In Seoul, everything we needed was a 15 minute walk (yes, the quintessential Utopian City): Shopping, groceries, restaurants, cafes, dental, medical, entertainment, you-name-it. My car would sit for weeks at a time — didn’t really need it unless we were heading out of Seoul.
Here? Everything’s a 15 minute DRIVE, big difference. It’s like living on the moon.
Bright side: The apartment here is bigger and nicer (in many aspects), so silver lining.
Okay, one other bright side: On the first morning here I took the dog out across the street and we walked right up on a deer (got within 15’ of him before he scattered). You’d never see THAT in Yongsan-gu.
Maybe I’ll get used to it.

Mandatory covid vaccines.

To the best of my knowledge, the Hell No Crowd has not changed their mind except to become the Twice as Hell No Crowd.
Most of the Compliant Cucks who believed The Science, even though ten minutes on the internet would have exposed them to enough science to make them question everything, all say they are grateful for the vaccine and thankful for the protection it offers them, but they won’t be getting any more vaccines… for reasons they don’t want to discuss… but probably revolve around being wrong, knowing they made a bad decision, and hoping it will all go away.
The scolds who were all hot in the àss for as many vaccines as they could get and demanding everyone else do the same, are 100% quiet… and get angry if you bring it up.
I belive this is a trial balloon, as so many things are, but not a serious one. They already know this is a tough sell. It doesn’t work. And a yearly shot for something less deadly than the flu (when you have honest numbers and aren’t paying hospitals to kill covid patients) does not generate enthusiasm.
This is just talk to rile people up, create discomfort and disorder, and further lower trust in all institutions…
…as they slowly tear socitey down so it can be rebuilt the way they want.
If everyone ignores this instead of complaining to everyone, all the time, everyone will be getting their shot and a pharmaceutical company CEO will be getting a new yacht named “Apathetic American’s Tax Dollars”.
