My dad learned to play table tennis in Taiwan. He was stationed there for 2 years. When he got back to the states no one could beat him. There was only one time he was at a resort and someone came up to him (after watching for a while) and asked if he wanted to play. Dad was playing left handed (he was right handed). The guy took out his own paddle, he was a professional player. Dad switched to his right hand. LOL
