That time when Koreans saved the Adam Sandler out in Space:

What? Another lame Adam Sandler film? How is that possible?

Oh.

I remember now.

That whole generation of comedians are, at best silly, but never funny.

US Navy secretary says he was ‘floored’ by a Pacific ally’s shipbuilding abilities amid American warship production woes

https://www.businessinsider.com/us-navy-secretary-floored-by-ally-south-koreas-shipbuilding-2024-4

Unsurprisingly, American shipbuilders can’t compete with South Koreans because the US shipbuilders don’t have any competition. After all, the US market is guaranteed for them to monopolize through what Americans call the Jones Act. It must have been a rude awakening for the US Navy secretary.

“US Navy secretary says he was ‘floored’ by a Pacific ally’s shipbuilding abilities amid American warship production woes”

He clearly has no idea what he is talking about.

A real Navy secretary would have been “decked”.

ChickenHead is just mad. ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

Here’s a perfect writeup from The Diplomat: summarizing why Yoon was soundly defeated to become a lame-duck president and why the right party won’t win the next general election.

In South Korea, President Yoon’s Lame Duck Era Officially Begins

The opposition Democratic Party of Korea won a landslide victory in the 22nd general elections, largely due to Yoon’s unpopularity.

China’s Alibaba and Teamu are rapidly gaining market share in South Korea, as their items on sale are outrageously cheap. This is threatening Coupang, and threatening to make South Korea’s e-commerce industry be swallowed up by China. Now Alibaba is setting up a $1.1 billion e-commerce distribution center in South Korea.

https://kr-asia.com/alibaba-to-take-on-coupang-with-usd-1-1-billion-investment-in-south-korea

China’s main target isn’t South Korea’s e-commerce market share. Their main strategy is using South Korea’s Free Trade agreements with the EU and America, to deliver cheap Made-in-China goods to the West without trade restrictions. Coupang isn’t the only company that is facing stiff competition. Amazon is also rapidly losing market share right now. But it’s going to get even worse for Amazon, once China’s South Korean operation completes building the distribution center and starts shipping goods to the West.

Here is why I use AliExpress instead of Korean sites.

1. Korean websites generally suck. Sites such as Auction are unusable. They are designed to be hard to use in every way, from specific searching to comparative shopping.

2. The prices are insane. It isn’t 10% higher, or even double. The price difference is frequently 8 to 10 times higher. And when you order it, they don’t stock the item, but simply order from AliExpress and frequently don’t even remove the attached documentation.

3. There is an incredible number of garbage listings that clutter up searches, such as 20,000 won items for a few million won. This likely has something to do with gaming the system in some way but it is a distraction to use.

4. AliExpress has a better system for picking options or models.

In the end, all Korean websites are greatly inferior to AiExpress.

GI, have you done Ernest Richard Kouma yet?

www[.]cmohs[.]org[/]recipients[/]ernest-r-kouma

M/Sgt. Kouma, a tank commander in Company A, distinguished himself by conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity at the risk of his life above and beyond the call of duty in action against the enemy. His unit was engaged in supporting infantry elements on the Naktong River front. Near midnight on 31 August, a hostile force estimated at 500 crossed the river and launched a fierce attack against the infantry positions, inflicting heavy casualties. A withdrawal was ordered and his armored unit was given the mission of covering the movement until a secondary position could be established. The enemy assault overran two tanks, destroyed one, and forced another to withdraw. Suddenly M/Sgt. Kouma discovered that his tank was the only obstacle in the path of the hostile onslaught. Holding his ground, he gave fire orders to his crew and remained in position throughout the night, fighting off repeated enemy attacks. During one fierce assault, the enemy surrounded his tank and he leaped from the armored turret, exposing himself to a hail of hostile fire, manned the .50 caliber machine gun mounted on the rear deck, and delivered point-blank fire into the fanatical foe. His machine gun emptied, he fired his pistol and threw grenades to keep the enemy from his tank. After more than nine hours of constant combat and close-in fighting, he withdrew his vehicle to friendly lines. During the withdrawal through eight miles of hostile territory, M/Sgt. Kouma continued to inflict casualties upon the enemy and exhausted his ammunition in destroying three hostile machine-gun positions. During this action, M/Sgt. Kouma killed an estimated 250 enemy soldiers. His magnificent stand allowed the infantry sufficient time to reestablish defensive positions. Rejoining his company, although suffering intensely from his wounds, he attempted to resupply his tank and return to the battle area. While being evacuated for medical treatment, his courage was again displayed when he requested to return to the front. M/Sgt. Kouma’s superb leadership, heroism, and intense devotion to duty reflect the highest credit on himself and uphold the esteemed traditions of the U.S. Army.

Iran is apparently attacking Israel directly at the moment.
This is bad.

Iran’s attack on Israel was only for show.

Israel expended 100 million in American tax dollars to shoot down all but a few drones and missiles…

…somehow also paid for by American tax dollars, but in a more roundabout way.

Unlike Ukraine and their continued shelling of civilian areas (with American weapons), Iran only selected military targets.

Nothing of importance seems to have been destroyed.

The story will be straight in a few days, but it seems most of the incoming weapons were shot down before ever getting close to their targets.

Iran is crazy but not stupid.

They don’t want to lose all those refinerys and ports and pipelines.

But don’t worry.

America and Israel will eventually back them into such a corner that they are willing… or required… to sacrifce them.

Iran’s attack consisted of:

  • 30 cruise missiles. Zero made it to Israeli territory. 25 intercepted by IAF fighters outside of Israeli airspace.
  • 120 ballistic missiles, just a ‘few’ struck Israel, with minimal infrastructure damage to Navatim Air Base in the Negev. Base is functioning as normal.
  • 130 drones were launched at Israel, none made it.
  • Other launches from Iraq and Yemen, but none hit Israel.

US, UK, and Jordan all assisted Israel publicly. Others, afraid of retaliation, may have assisted in less overt ways, as Iran hasn’t really learned how to win friends.

Israel expended 100 million in American tax dollars to shoot down all but a few drones and missiles…

It’s not a bad tradeoff for Iran. An Iranian drone costs $20,000, versus an Israeli Iron Dome missile paid for by American taxpayers ($3.3 billion per year in economic aid to Israel), which costs $100,000 dollars per missile. Iran can keep on producing those drones with cheap Chinese components, and they can make Israel empty out their coffers in no time. But don’t worry, US taxpayers will step up to the plate so that Israel can keep going with bombing foreign embassies (which by the way is against international law that the US didn’t say a peep) to bait governments that they don’t like. The US guarantee for Israel is unconditional.

I suppose we could have said, “Sure does suck to lose an embassy.”

All the cool kids are looking at the spaz kids and yelling Fight Fight Fight.

Israel is now being encouraged to Not Take that Shít.

It seems everyone involved is conducting offense and defense like the textbook says.

In fact, it is almost as if this is a game played for the observers rather than the players. Must consider further.

The operation in Gaza seems to be going well… though it won’t really be a success until there is open cannibalism…

…of children.

Muslims probably won’t call it “long pork”.

“Long goat”?

Or is that already taken as a love interest?

F15s over Jordan took out well over 100 of the drones.

“On Capitol Hill last week, NTSB chair Jennifer Homendy said her investigators were likewise focusing on the Dali’s electrical issues, adding her team believes there may be a connection between the ship’s lights going out and it losing power to its engines in the moments before the crash.

Homendy said Hyundai, the South Korea-based company that manufactured the engine-room equipment used on the Dali, sent experts to the United States to download electrical data from the ship and look at its circuit breakers.”

I was part of an investigation where the investigated did not want to share their process data.

When I finally got access…

…surprise.

So the půssyássed western media blurred out the face of the dead guy the crazypuzy was trying to pass off as a live guy wishing to take out a bank loan.

But, in all its glory, here is the full video.

Actually, if you consider it the right way, this is such a boss move, you can almost see it working.

He looks alive… if you want to believe.

Protip: If you bring a dead guy to take out a bank loan, put a stun gun on him so you can get an occasional response that isn’t fully dependent on your obvious action.
