U.S. Confirms that North Korean Troops Have Begun Combat Operations Against Ukrainian Troops in Russia’s Kursk Region

As has been predicted here by myself and other ROK Heads, North Korean troops are being used to push Ukrainian troops out of Russia’s Kursk region:

The United States confirmed Tuesday that North Korean troops, who have been deployed to Russia’s western front-line Kursk region, have begun engaging in combat operations against Ukrainian forces.

Vedant Patel, principal deputy spokesperson for the State Department, made the remarks amid growing concerns that the North’s troop deployment could expand Moscow’s protracted war in Ukraine with security implications for both Europe and the Indo-Pacific region. (…..)

“Today, I can confirm that over 10,000 DPRK soldiers have been sent to eastern Russia, and most of them have moved to far western Kursk Oblast, where they have begun engaging in combat operations with Russian forces,” he added.

Yonhap

You can read more at the link, but using the North Koreans to fight in Kursk makes sense because Russia would then not need to redeploy their own troops continuing their long grinding offensive in Ukraine.

Those that survive will bring back valuable lessons learned about modern combat; meanwhile, South Korea troops are serving only 18 months (really only about 13 once you subtract leave and mandatory KPOP concert attendance).

No worries, Flyingsword.

South Korea is on the cusp of signing a mega-project $30 billion with Saudi Arabia to supply them with weapons. The Saudis are in South Korea and they want to sign. That kind of deal used to go to the United States. But no more.

Good, then South Korea can pay 100% for their own defense.

Korea’s not going to pay $10 billion a year to help you pay for your massive internment camps. And your fascist cult leader says you’ll be leaving soon.

“Korea’s not going to pay $10 billion a year to help you pay for your massive internment camps.”

I was very disappointed that Trump didn’t display any of the fascism I was promised during his first term. He didn’t put gays into camps or end democracy.

I hope you are right this time around and we get some promised internment camps.

Come to think of it, the only internment camps seriously proposed were the ones the left wanted to put the unvaccinated in.

As I’ve always said the USFK are free to leave Korea anytime.

I don’t understand why the likes of Flyingsword, ChickenHead, and are complaining.

Don’t worry, you’ll get it this time since there’s no meaningful opposition to Trump’s orders. If you’re going to deport 21 million people, you have to build large internment camps to hold all the illegal and legal people, including babies, boys, girls, women, men, old people, dogs and cats. At least until they are shipped back to wherever they came from. Isn’t this logical?
