Korea to Open Rice Market with 513% Tariff
I am not sure how this is considered opening the rice market when you put a 513% tariff on imports:
South Korea has notified the World Trade Organization (WTO) that it will open its rice market in January next year with a 513 percent tariff rate.
The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs Tuesday submitted to the WTO secretariat its plan to revise the country’s tariff rate on rice imports. [KBS World]

tbonetyler, they didn’t feed anybody salmonella. The lunch were thrown out. If it was the US, they would have fed them anyway, especially to the Asians because white Americans are racists at heart.

Tom should open a restaurant in the Philippines only for Koreans, that has never been done before, has it Tom? Or you could even do that in Itaewan Tom. Itaewan’s in Korea Tom. It’s mostly been taken over by Korean patrons now. You should try to visit Korea at least once before you die Tom.
