Totally agree on the "News from Japan I like to read about" article.

One could easily say the same phenomenon is also happening to Korean women. However, my personal observations of both societies over that last 20 years leads me to conclude that this female body style trend probably started a generation earlier in Korea.

That may have to do with the perception that young Korean women are more "Westernized" than their Japanese counterparts. It may also be a by-product of the Korean War. The war's devestation of the peninsula forced Korean society to completely rebuild with Western help (and societal influences), whereas the Japanese mainland was far less devastated after World War II and their rebuilding really focused on attaining democracy.

Ahhh … too much talk … where are the pictures !!!

Where are the pictures? Really, just do a google image search on *ANY* random Japanese female name and you'll have more to look at than you could wish for.

And here I had no idea that B-W-H measurements are influenced that much by diet!
