Shags! 🙂
I know him quite well…or did, up until about seven years ago, the last time he was at our house.
Good guy.

I attended his speech…

…pretty impressive…

…and very moving when he spoke of the dedication and sacrifice shown by so many airmen who received purple hearts, silver stars, blue diamond, green clovers and yellow moon.

I see why Liz did some name-dropping there.

That name is hard to carry.

And if he were a ginger…

On the subject of gingers…red heads seem to do really well in Asia. I had a ginger friend in Korea and basically she awed everyone, everywhere we went. She wasn’t very attractive, but tall with red hair. They called her “blonde” for some reason. Is that still a “thing” over there?

“Is that still a “thing” over there?”

Hair? Yes that’s still a thing thankfully.
(There’s a double meaning to that btw.)

Smokes, I’ve imbibed far too much Christmas spirits to “get” that double meaning at the moment.
Today is baking day (bread and pies), tomorrow cooking day. Baking day is the day of greatest imbibement.

Forgot to add: Merry Christmas, all! 🙂

It’s ok it’ll come to you, there’s one person I know who should get what I meant right away. In any case I’ve just spent the last 2 hours and 40 minutes laying in bed trying to go to sleep but couldn’t stop thinking about stuff so there’s that..

“red heads seem to do really well in Asia.”

My little red head has done quite well… though it didn’t do too badly anywhere else.
