America has already made the mistake of electing a president with the only qualification being that he is half black.
Certainly they won’t make that mistake again by electing a president that appears to be about half woman.
…though there is currently a first lady that appears to be about 25% woman… so maybe.
Bill Helton, who is currently serving as Elk City’s commissioner and works as a hair dresser, claims that the character was inspired by one of his African American clients. He has been hosting fundraisers and community events across the state as the “Pollyster Kotton” character since 2005.
“It’s just satire, she’s a character,” Helton told KFOR, NewsChannel 4. “Anyone that’s offended, I would sit down and talk to them. Because my heart is, I would never do that and want to help whoever I can help,” Helton said.”
It is completely unacceptable for a person of one race to act like the person of another race.
A white person putting on blackface, a blond afro, and silver lamé while singing, even for charity, is an offensive act.
Likewise, a black person putting on a suit and getting a job is insulting cultural appropriation. Prodicts like hair straightener and skin lightener only add to the offense.
The racial stereotypes perpetuated by this Pollyester Kotton character are no less offensive than the racial stereotypes perpetuated by the whiteface, pointy-nosed, and rich character of Michael Jackson.
This madness must end.

You certainly aren’t suggesting that it is racist for a white person to dress in traditional black attire, such as a loincloth and spear with nose bone or polyester bellbottoms with a purple fur coat and superfro wig… yet it is perfectly acceptable for blacks to appropriate traditional white attire such as a three piece suit and briefcase or a Polo shirt with khakis.
This is yet another example contrasting the inclusive tolerance of whites and the hateful racism of blacks.
Tbone, it is sad that you, too, have become such a double standard racist… complaining of a white guy who dressed like a black to support charity yet championing Michael Jackson for having surgery to look white for personal profit.
setnaffa,
Why would Americanthinker interest me? It’s right leaning shyte that doesn’t even mention the P5+1 attempt at controlling/reducing NUKs in the future. It’t not just an Obama agreement with Iran. Somehow you and your idiots forgot that in that article you linked. Not even a whisper of P5+1, who’d a thunk it? It’s all Obama’s fault, aye? And those 47 idiot GOP senators could face justice for their treason… http://www.laprogressive.com/47-republican-senators/
“Nearly a quarter million Americans have signed a petition asking the White House to charge the 47 Republican senators who wrote a letter against the potential Iran nuclear weapons deal with treason, March 9, 2015.
In a new low for partisan gamesmanship, 47 Republican Senators have directly and blatantly sought to undermine President Obama’s efforts, in conjunction with the governments of England, France, Germany, Russia and China, to negotiate a nuclear weapons agreement with Iran. In an “Open Letter” to the leaders of that country, the 47 Senators have warned that President Obama will be in office for less than two more years, and the next President, and the next Congress, may undo any agreement that the P5+1 reach with Iran in the coming months.
This action by the 47 Senators borders on treason, and almost certainly violates the Logan Act, which makes it a felony for any citizen, “without authority of the United States” to carry on a correspondence with a foreign government “with intent to influence the measures or conduct of that government or “to defeat the measures of the United States”. In a prior article in LA Progressive (“Did Boehner Pull a Boner?“, January 29, 2015), I argued that Speaker Boehner violated the Logan Act by inviting Bibi Netanyahu to speak before Congress in opposition to the nuclear weapons agreement with Iran without clearing it first with the President.
Why the Actions of the 47 Traitors Violate the Logan Act
In that earlier article…prior times the Logan Act has been considered for use by the government (there has never been a conviction since the Logan Act was enacted in 1799). Now may be the time. Opponents say that the First Amendment free speech concepts have made the Logan Act impotent over the past 200+ years, but these facts remain true:
The Constitution clearly gives the President the power to make treaties and conduct America’s foreign policy, and the Supreme Court has made this clear in a number of opinions. The Senate can give its Advice and Consent on treaties, but the House has no role, except appropriations.
The 47 Senators acted without any authority to do so. They say it is just an “open letter ” to the government of Iran, and not a direct communication, but this is nonsense in today’s modern era of communications. Iran’s Foreign Minister has acknowledged receiving this “open letter”, so this is a moot point. The intent of the 47 Senators is clearly to cause Iran not to reach agreement, as they understand its terms now, and to defeat this measure being negotiated by President Obama and the P5+1.
Can the President’s Attorney General indict 47 U. S. Senators and the Speaker of the House for violating the Logan Act? Senator Menendez (D-N.J.) may very well be indicted this month on corruption charges, so why can’t these Senators and the Speaker be indicted for engaging in treasonous conduct well beyond their Congressionally-mandated roles? It also does not appear that the Speech and Debate Clause of the Constitution would shield them from being held accountable for these communications with foreign governments…
…Not too long after the senators released their letter on Monday, March 9, 2015 denouncing the potential deal and lack of Congressional approval, a petition was put up on the White House’s “We the People” online petitions website, asking for files to be charged against the Republican senators for violating the Logan Act of 1999. In three days, the petition has nearly a quarter million signatures way above the 100,000 required for an official White House response. Meanwhile a Washington Post poll shows that 92 percent of Americans who voted oppose the senators’ actions.
Although the White House and President Barack Obama’s administration has virulently criticized the senators’ actions as has Congressional Democrats, and prospective candidate Hillary Clinton, White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest responded superficially to the petition at his daily press briefing on Wednesday, March 11, that he does not think that the senators would be charged for violating of the Logan Act. Earnest explained however, “For a determination like that, I’d refer you to the Department of Justice. It ultimately would be their responsibility to make that kind of determination. I know that there’s been a lot of speculation about this, but I’m not aware of any conversations about the Logan Act in its relation to this specific matter that have taken place here at the White House.”

Actually, fellow racist, it was a case of the Egg callng the Utensil white. Callng you black would be too offensive. Even I have limits.
Anyhoo… you wrote a disjointed paragraph that seemed to have little point followed by a cut and paste of an opinion piece with hard-hitting reporting like…
“so why can’t these Senators and the Speaker be indicted for engaging in treasonous conduct well beyond their Congressionally-mandated roles?”
Journalism presents facts with balanced analysis. Opinion pieces ask emotionally-charged questions filled with slippery and biased words while having no intention to answer them… as the imagination of the low-education reader will answer more sensationally than the rather dull factual answer…
…which, in this case, is that these Senators did not do anything that fits the definition of treason.
In fact, one could better argue that Obama’s assistance to our enemy Iran to acquire nuclear weapons better fits the definition of treason than the Senators’ attempts to block it from happening.
Ted Cruz isn’t Hillary.
So, I can’t imagine what he’d have to do to lose my support….unless someone other than Hillary wins the Democratic primaries. I registered Democrat to do my part for the primaries last time.

Judge Tells Korean-Restaurant Owner in Queens to Pay $2.7 Million in Back Wages
The vegetable picking was the worst job Mr. Morales endured. When Mr. Yu asked him to show up at 8 a.m. on his day off, to be bused to a vegetable farm in New Jersey, Mr. Morales said Mr. Yu said: “Don’t ask why. You’re just here early, you’re going to work.”
In a statement submitted by Mr. Kim, Mr. Yoo said the farm outing was for a company picnic. The statement added: “About attending employees’ working related to the produce, we acknowledge that it’s the company’s mistake. But it’s not true that there was forceful requirement of working.”
But when workers did not attend a “voluntary” function, they were taken off the schedule, Mr. Morales said. Now he works at a supermarket, where he knows his rights.
Company picnic. lolololol
Last year, Mr. Yoo’s wife opened a restaurant in Rockefeller Center, New York Kimchi, and it did not take long for workers there to protest. Last week, they filed a lawsuit claiming that the restaurant refused to pay overtime and that they were not receiving their tips on credit card payments.
Crazy employees. Don’t they know that tips are for the the restaraunt owner only. lololololol
Liz: You can’t imagine what he’d have to do to lose your support? I would hope any decent person wouldn’t have been supporting him for quite some time! And, right now it’s no where close to a choice between Canada Cruz or Benghazi Billary.
Ted Cruz is the republican Barrack Obama. It’s like a sick joke of some kind.
Some guy who has only been a senator for a short time, some guy without any real executive experience, some guy whose biggest qualification is he went to Harvard Law School, some guy with a foreign name and mixed ethnic background, some guy who has questions about his birth certificate, have you heard this guy’s running for president? – Who could it be? Obammy or Cruz?

LOL What?
During his “filibuster” of the Affordable Care Act, Cruz took time out to read his daughters a bedtime story. “I don’t get to read it that often because I tell them, ‘Go pick the books you want to read and I read it to them,’” Cruz said on the Senate floor. “But since tonight, girls, you aren’t here, you don’t get to pick the book, so I get to pick Green Eggs and Ham.”
Doesn’t the dumb ass realize that at the end of the book Sam comes to LOVE green eggs and ham?

Defenders of Netanyahu will stop at nothing to defend his reprehensible behavior, but good for the WSJ for reporting it. Israel spied on us, shared info with GOP senators who used info against Obama in the 47 GOP letter to Iran. Treason? Of course…read the Logan Act – in the GOP attempt to undermine P5+1 nuclear agreement.
http://www.wsj.com/articles/israel-spied-on-iran-talks-1427164201
“Israel spied on private talks the United States held with Iran over its nuclear ambitions, and used the inside information in an attempt to lobby members of Congress against the deal.
The report cites current and former U.S. officials, who said Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu wanted to gain inside information on the talks in order to effectively develop a competing narrative. In addition to spying, WSJ reported, Israel also “acquired information from confidential U.S. briefings, informants and diplomatic contacts in Europe.”
…Israeli officials, for their part, denied “spying directly” on American negotiators, and said they received the confidential information in other ways:
“These allegations are utterly false. The state of Israel does not conduct espionage against the United States or Israel’s other allies. The false allegations are clearly intended to undermine the strong ties between the United States and Israel and the security and intelligence relationship we share.”

Again, WTF are you talking about? If it’s my last comment #9 then you don’t know math/can’t count/know the difference between one or more “authors.” I provided one link and it only had one author you EGGHEAD. And who the F*** do you think you are Mr. EGGHEAD POT? When was the last time you provided “sources”? All you do is…

EGGHEAD says…”But what can be expected from a racist like Tbone?”
Listen to Pot(EGGHEAD) calling Kettle black! 凸ಠ益ಠ)凸
“EGGHEAD says…”But what can be expected from a racist like Tbone?”
Listen to Pot(EGGHEAD) calling Kettle black! 凸ಠ益ಠ)凸”
Ted Cruz, look how quickly he turned his back on his home country of Canada. How quickly will he turn his back on America?
BONUS: Check out http://TedCruz.com
Ted Cruz isn’t Hillary.
So, I can’t imagine what he’d have to do to lose my support….unless someone other than Hillary wins the Democratic primaries. I registered Democrat to do my part for the primaries last time.
(yes, scoffers, she is far far worse than Obama)
tbone should learn to do basic research and read the laws regarding Treason, i.e., 18 USC Chapter 115. And then reread the Constitution. Particularly the bits about the US Senate being a required part of any treaties, as well as the First Amendment bits about Freedom of Speech.
It’s really kind of embarrassing, when you look at it. So many of the folks that tbone quotes either don’t know the law–or wish they were a nork…
Judge Tells Korean-Restaurant Owner in Queens to Pay $2.7 Million in Back Wages
http://www.nytimes.com/2015/03/24/nyregion/judge-tells-korean-restaurant-owner-in-queens-to-pay-back-wages.html?_r=1
“I have never seen a Hispanic panhandler” -TC
Must have led a sheltered life.
“I don’t know that they’ve yet violated the Third Amendment, but I expect them to start quartering soldiers in people’s homes soon.” -TC
Liz, Ted appeals to the lowest common denominator. I know from your writings here that you are more intelligent, moral and empathetic than the Duck Dynasty/Honey Boo Boo crowd. Let’s all hope some better choices are presented.
I don’t know… you got the first mainstream Hispanic-Canadian-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy. I mean, that’s a storybook, man.
18. CH: LOL Well played, sir.
*golf clap*
This is an offensive outrage!
Michelle Obama, the African American first lady, has appeared on TV in whiteface with strait hair.

Keep in mind, THIS is her natural skin tone and hair texture.

How much longer will blacks mocking whites and copying their looks and actions be tolerated?
Help me find the answers, Tbone!
EGGHEAD just linked to something other than a photobucket or image website, I’d congratulate him except he’s only a HYPOCRIT who has criticized me for not providing links when he/himself has spoken out against them and rarely does so himself. You fuc*ing RETARD EGGHEAD!!! 凸(`0´)凸
Hey EGGHEAD, I didn’t click on any of your stupid links because it’s obvious they’re RACIST you f**** RETARD EGGHEAD 凸(`0´)凸.
GI Korea, you got a problem(s) with your website. When are you gonna fix them?
“GI Korea, you got a problem(s) with your website. When are you gonna fix them?
Tbone, you got a problem(s) with your life. When are you gonna fix them?
There. Fixed that for you.
Tbone. You never answered why it is offensive for a white person to wear blackface and an afro wig but it is acceptable for a black person to lighten their skin, straighten their hair, dye it blond, and even get cosmetic surgery to copy white facial features… all while wearing traditional white clothes.
…and don’t get all racist and say that whites appear more attractive or traditional white clothing is more refined than that of blacks or some other excuse based on prejudice and bigotry.
GOP Giuliani & Co. have claimed Obama is to blame for anti-police Ferguson, MO agenda/cop killings aye? Well then EGGHEAD & Co. are slimy like the conservative leaning guy below…
http://www.salon.com/2015/03/18/i_wish_i_could_kill_some_of_these_cops_james_okeefes_plan_to_infiltrate_anti_police_protesters/
“A former top staffer at Project Veritas, a conservative-leaning “investigative journalism” organization run by notoriously slimy James O’Keefe, has recently admitted that he was pressured to oversee an operative, charged with embedding with anti-police protest groups and influencing demonstrators to say violent statements on camera, according to the New York Post.
The staffer, Richard Valdes, said that O’Keefe fired him after the operative refused to complete the assignment and Valdes refused to punish him for it. Valdes said that O’Keefe was “unhappy with me for being unwilling to strong-arm the guy to do his dirty work.”
The operative reportedly emailed Valdes and O’Keefe: “I will not say words that will jeopardize my entity, especially when they involve an illegal act of ‘murdering police.’”
setnaffa you dummy dork…”reread the Constitution. Particularly the bits about the US Senate being a required part of any treaties”
The full congress/senate is only part of a treaty after the agreement is made at which time they can vote. They aren’t “required” to interrupt/undermine the agreement/treaty while it’s being negotiated. You’re such a dummy dork!
We know how the full congress is “required” to declare war too now don’t we? Funny, that doesn’t ever seem to happen though aye?
@22- Can you be specific about what the problems are because the site is working fine for me.
“Can you be specific about what the problems are”
– The screen just won’t stop spinning.
– Whoa… it like loads waaaay too fast.
– It just won’t come into focus.
– The colors, man, the COLORS!
– The volume is too low to understand the voices.
– You gotta get rid of the pink elephants.
One more for tbone:
-Rob: “Did you hear about the Obama administration scandal?
Tony: “You mean the Mexican gun running?”
-Rob: “No, the other one.”
Tony: “You mean SEAL Team 6?”
-Rob: “No, the other one.”
Tony: “You mean the State Dept. lying about Benghazi?”
-Rob: “No, the other one.”
Tony: “You mean voter fraud?”
-Rob: “No, the other one.”
Tony: “You mean the military not getting their votes counted?”
-Rob: “No, the other one.”
Tony: “You mean the of drones in our own country without the benefit of the law?”
-Rob: “No, the other one.”
Tony: “Giving 123 Technologies $300 Million and right after it declared bankruptcy and was sold to the Chinese?”
-Rob: “No, the other one.”
Tony: “You mean the president arming the Muslim Brotherhood?”
-Rob: “No the other one:.
Tony: “The IRS targeting conservatives?”
-Rob: “No, the other one.”
Tony: “The DOJ spying on the press?”
-Rob: “No, the other one.”
Tony: “Sebelius shaking down health insurance executives?”
-Rob: “No, the other one.”
Tony: “Giving SOLYNDRA $500 MILLION DOLLARS and 3 months later they declared bankruptcy and then the Chinese bought it?”
-Rob: “No, the other one.”
Tony: “The NSA monitoring our phone calls, emails and everything else?”
-Rob: “No, the other one.”
Tony: “The president’s ordering the release of nearly 10,000 illegal immigrants from jails and prisons, and falsely blaming the sequester?”
-Rob: “No, the other one.”
Tony: “I give up! … Oh wait, I think I got it! You mean that 65 million low-information voters who don’t pay taxes and get free stuff from taxpayers and stuck us again with the most pandering, corrupt administration in American history?”
-Rob: “THAT’S THE ONE!”
And there is nothing that prohibits anyone in America from posting an “Open Letter” on a website explaining how they plan to vote…
But I guess that’s a little tough for some folks to understand…
“@22- Can you be specific about what the problems are because the site is working fine for me.”
Are you asking something of me?
You should notice that I included a question mark.
And the answer to your sorry put question is yes, I could be more specific but why should I? You’ve always been rude to me and can’t even find it within yourself to include a question mark. I didn’t really think much about your problem until you pathetically asked me but now I know and will leave it to your simple self to figure out.
Let’s just say it’s really ugly and has been for some time, why don’t you just turn back the clock to the last time you thought you were smart and tried to change something?
Q: What’s the difference between GI Korea’s sentences and Tbone’s sexuality?
A: The sentences don’t have a big question mark.
When it comes to TBone, I am SO GLAD that they make a mouse with a scroll wheel. A single flick, and his insane rambling enter and exit my screen with a minimum time on display.
Idiot. You had a question or concern about the site. GI Korea attempted to assist you, and you act a fool? Dude, WTF is wrong with you?
“Tbone’s sexuality”
There EGGHEAD goes again thinking about me in a sexy way. “Dude,” you shouldn’t fantasize about me, or are you just stereotyping against those who aren’t closeted like yourself?
North Korea “captures” two spys in Dandong, China. The men, identified as Kim Kuk Gi and Choe Chun Gil were arrested for running a China-based “underground church” and illegally spreading foreign information on USB sticks and SD cards in the country.
http://news.yahoo.com/north-korea-says-arrested-two-south-korean-spies-155748498.html
So now the norKs have three hostages to be traded later.
Oh, and BONEHEAD? If you don’t like the current format, GI Korea has a link at the very top to display the page using the old format. I’m sure someone as dilligent as you saw it:
Note: You can still view ROK Drop in it’s classic blog format at this link. (Don’t click on the word link on this post, it doesn’t work. BONEHEAD.)
Or better yet, you could just go away if you don’t like this page. None of us will miss your huffed up ramblings and copy/paste shenanigans.
Tbone, I only think of you sexually.
I rewatch the video of you helplessly protesting against the hogwon while thinking how trapped you are in your own life.
It’s like bondage pr0n…
…only mentally.
Black NYC Councilwoman Raises Concerns About ‘Blocs’ of Asians Moving Into NYCHA
http://www.nydailynews.com/news/politics/councilwoman-claims-large-asian-population-moved-h-article-1.2163571
A Brooklyn city councilmember on Thursday made the bizarre claim that a wave of Asians has invaded public housing developments in her district.
Not only is this black councilmember offending Asians with her speaking, she is offending northern Europeans with her blond hair.
Would she consider it acceptable if I showed up to a council meeting in my 70s superfro?
I think not.
Another crack in the North Korean Wall:

This is pretty cool, I think. A portable DVD player that takes USB cards. Put in a State Approved DVD, then watch K-Dramas or whatever on the USB. If/when the Authorities come by, pop out the USB, and show them that you were just watching Kim Jong Un milking a goat.
Maybe MBC and SBS can do a K-Drama about a fictional Dictator being overthrown?
Jeesh. Fox New is on their annual coordinated War on Spring Break fear mongering campaign. It’s like watching a modern, slickly produced, Reefer Madness. They are slipping this year though. They haven’t blamed it on Obammy or Hillary – yet.
